Ben Klaus

Senior Pastor Benjamin Klaus is a native of the Midwest. After ministering in Chicago and Denver, God brought him to the Detroit metro area, and he is delighted to be able to minister at Legacy Church. Pastor Ben has a special burden to study the word of God deeply and explain it practically; to build meaningful relationships with fellow Christians and help them in their relationship with God through Jesus Christ; to pray for God's grace towards his people; and to present the gospel of Jesus Christ to everyone he meets in the community.

Pastor Ben formerly served as the music director of the Troy Metro Symphony Orchestra, and currently serves as the music director of the Novi Youth Symphony Orchestra, a vibrant orchestra of middle schoolers and high schoolers from Novi and the surrounding communities. Pastor Ben also regularly performs as a violist with the Macomb Symphony Orchestra and the Warren Symphony Orchestra. In his spare time, Pastor Ben loves to read, tinker on the piano, play basketball, ride his Harley Davidson, or go on long walks with his kids. Pastor Ben has three beautiful children, Matthew, Katelyn, and Christian.
